Hey, I’m Tianna!
I’m a follower of Jesus, creative, and content creator with a heart for encouraging people to know Christ, embrace who God created them to be, and live boldly set apart for Him.
Over the years, God has allowed me to experience many different spaces, from serving in the military and competing on the Miss USA stage to creating content, sharing my natural hair journey, and speaking openly about faith, purity, identity, and singleness. While those parts of my life may look different from one another, I’ve come to realize they all give me opportunities to do one thing: use what God has given me to point people back to Him.
I don’t believe we have to fit into one box to be used by God. He can use your different gifts, interests, experiences, and passions in different spaces, all for His glory.
Faith, Purity & Singleness
One of the most personal parts of my journey is my decision to remain a virgin into my 30s.
I share this part of my story because I’m passionate about encouraging others to remain pure and faithful to God in their singleness. Choosing to honor God with our relationships and bodies may be countercultural today, but I want both men and women to see that it is possible to stand firm in their convictions and that doing things God’s way will always be worth it.
And that belief reaches far beyond purity. It’s at the heart of God’s Way Today.
God’s Way Today
God’s Way Today is a Christian lifestyle brand with a simple mission: encouraging this generation to do life God’s way, today.
Following Jesus isn’t reserved for Sundays. Our faith should influence the way we approach relationships, purity, purpose, work, creativity, identity, decisions, and everyday life.
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31
That verse captures the heart behind God’s Way Today. I want to encourage people, especially young people and singles, to realize that they don’t have to wait until they’re older, married, more accomplished, or have everything figured out to live boldly for Christ. And story definitely doesn’t have to be perfect…there is redemption in Christ.
Scripture tells us, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers...” (1 Timothy 4:12).
It also reminds us, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Wherever you are in your journey, you can choose to honor God now.
Through content, conversations, resources, community, products, and whatever else God allows God’s Way Today to become, my prayer is that it encourages people to see following Christ not simply as something we believe, but as a lifestyle we live.
Beauty, Creativity & Becoming
Many people originally found me through beauty, pageantry, modeling, or my natural hair journey.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to serve as Miss California USA and compete at Miss USA. That experience taught me valuable lessons about confidence, communication, presence, and representing yourself well, but it also reinforced something much more important: a crown can recognize you, but it cannot define you.
The world often places value on what can be seen, measured, praised, or achieved, but God looks deeper. Scripture reminds us that outward beauty is temporary, while a woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise. True beauty is found in a heart that seeks God and in the character, wisdom, strength, grace, and good works that flow from a life surrendered to Him.
Our appearance may change, titles may come and go, and accomplishments may eventually be forgotten, but our value has never depended on any of those things. Our worth comes from the God who created us, and our identity is ultimately found in Him.
Many others have followed my natural hair journey over the years. What began with simply sharing my hair became an opportunity to connect with women learning to embrace their own beauty and identity. I’m currently bringing parts of that experience together in my launched hair book, “Grow your hair in 12 months”, sharing pieces of my journey, what I’ve learned about caring for natural hair, and encouragement for women navigating their own.
I hope it reminds women that beauty and creativity can be things we enjoy and express ourselves through, while never forgetting that the most beautiful parts of who we are are cultivated from the inside out.
Why I’m Here
Ultimately, this space is about much more than me.
Whether you found me through faith, purity, pageantry, natural hair, creativity, or somewhere completely unexpected, I hope you leave encouraged to know Jesus more deeply, walk confidently in who He created you to be, and honor Him with whatever He has placed in your hands.
I’m still growing, learning, creating, and following where God leads, and I’m grateful you’re here for part of the journey.
